RULE #3…Pick a Convenient Time to exercise
It’s probably best if you try and schedule your workouts in the early morning before you begin your busy workday. However, that’s not always practical for many people. Studies show that those who schedule a time to exercise based upon what’s practical for them tend to get to their workout program more consistently. Regardless of what time you choose to exercise put it in your planner as an appointment and don’t miss! I always kid most of my training clients that they really don’t need me anymore. All of these people know proper form for tons of different exercises and could design a good workout on their own. But they all say the same thing. It’s about accountability. I’m part of their weekly schedule and they know they will show up and work hard once we have set times with me.
